A Movement That Started in the North East
Founded to give influencers outside of London a stage worthy of their talent, the UK Top Influencer Awards has grown into one of the most talked-about nights in the content creator calendar. Hosted in Newcastle, it’s a red-carpet event with a difference — celebrating authenticity, creativity, and community at every level, from Nano creators with under 10,000 followers to household names with audiences in the millions.
2024: The Beginning of Something Special
The very first UK Top Influencer Awards took place in 2024 at Domain Newcastle. With Love Island star Georgia Harrison as host, the night set the tone for what was to come — a mix of glamour, excitement, and real recognition for influencers across more than 20 categories. From beauty and fashion to gaming, lifestyle, and entrepreneurship, the event showcased just how diverse and dynamic the UK influencer scene truly is.
2025: Raising the Bar
In 2025, the Awards returned even bigger at the iconic Assembly Rooms in Newcastle. Hosted by Farmer Will and Jessie Wynter, the black-tie gala welcomed hundreds of creators, brands, and industry figures. The red carpet was buzzing, the competition fierce, and the atmosphere unforgettable. Guests were treated to live performances, luxury experiences, and even a professional makeup truck usually reserved for film sets — giving our nominees and guests the star treatment they deserve.
That year also marked the expansion of our work experience programme, where Middlesbrough College Hair & Media Makeup students gained hands-on experience working behind the scenes. We also took three Middlesbrough College Students to London Fashion Week, offering them once-in-a-lifetime exposure to the fashion industry. It was proof that the Awards aren’t just about one night, they’re about opening doors and building futures.
2026: The Biggest Year Yet
Now, all eyes are on Saturday 3rd May 2026, when the UK Top Influencer Awards returns once again to Newcastle. This will be our most ambitious influencer event to date — more categories, more opportunities, and more unforgettable moments. Expect a night of red-carpet glamour, celebrity hosts, exclusive performances, and recognition for the influencers who are leading the way in shaping online culture.
As always, our mission remains clear: to put the North East firmly on the map as the UK’s home of influencer excellence, while giving creators from every corner of the country the recognition they deserve.
